At the Boys Hope Girls Hope National Office:

We are planning for our 4th Annual National Day of Service Event  for April 27, starting at 9:00 am.

We will have lots to do as part of our ongoing “Bringing Nature Home to Boys Hope Girls Hope” project.  Gardening tasks will include planting additional native grasses and forbs, clearing out invasive honeysuckle plants, installing erosion control and cutting back the native grasses we planted last year.  We also hope to update our outdoor signage with the current logo and colors.

We hope to include opportunities for our partners from Shaw Nature Reserve, Missouri Department of Conservation, Missouri Master Naturalists and Forest Releaf to talk about the purposes and benefits of a project like ours and using native plants.

As in past years we will provide lunch for all volunteers.
