It’s not enough that a child become successful. That child must also be prepared to help others overcome their obstacles as well.
Boys Hope Girls Hope is multidenominational. We do not espouse any particular creed or faith, but all our scholars are expected to attend religious services consistent with their own religious backgrounds. The value of living a life of service to others is consistent across all religions and all expressions of spirituality, and we draw upon the strength of religious traditions to foster that value in the children we serve.
All Boys Hope Girls Hope scholars are also expected to participate in community service activities throughout their time in our program. These projects show them firsthand the effect of serving others. By performing community service, our scholars learn to incorporate the value of becoming a man or woman for others into their lives.
