The Charity Preview Event benefits nine Children’s Charities throughout Metro Detroit, of which Boys Hope Girls Hope Detroit has been a recipient for the past 24 years. The black tie event is a night of glitz and glamour that includes the CEO’s of the 3 U.S. auto companies, as well as, representation from around the world. Over 13,000 people attended, which indicates that auto manufacturing is back in full force –an important development for the city of Detroit.
This year was even more special for BHGH Detroit as one of our 7th grade scholars, was selected as the child ambassador to represent the children of all nine charities. He was on stage with the Governor of Michigan and the Mayor of Detroit along with all the CEO’s and auto sales Executives to cut the opening ribbon!
