Esperanza Juvenil is part of Boys Hope Girls Hope (www.boyshopegirlshope.org), an international non-profit organization that was founded in the United Status in 1977 by Father Paul Sheridan, a Jesuit priest. For 30 years, Boys Hope Girls Hope has helped children of many racial, cultural and religious backgrounds. In addition to the Esperanza Juvenil homes, Boys Hope Girls Hope has 29 homes in the US and 6 in Brazil. Since 1991, every one of the scholars in the US program who has graduated from high school has gone on to college. We are committed to having the same results at Esperanza Juvenil in Guatemala!
