Mentoring Program:  Soaring Together

In order for our Scholars to meet the challenges of the future, they must excel in the following areas:

• Personal
• Cultural
• Academic

Boys Hope Girls Hope knows the positive influence a caring adult can have on one of our Scholars;  therefore, we are looking for motivated volunteers to build strong relationships with our scholars, to become mentors who help sharp minds, push open the door to their future.

As a mentor, while you will see a different kind of flight, the impact of your effort will also be far reaching.

Desire Outcome for Scholars:

• Experience a productive relationship with a caring adult outside his or her immediate family and the staff at Boys Hope Girls Hope

• Become more culturally competent

• Strengthen his or her academic skills

• Develop life-long intellectual, personal and career goals
