To help meet the needs of our New Orleans affliate,
we have established the New Orleans Rebuilding Fund at the National
Office to assist scholars and collegians as they recover from Hurricane
Katrina. Funds will be used to provide temporary housing, school
supplies, clothing and food in the immediate future. As time goes
on, resources will be needed to rebuild and furnish the home. You
can send make a contribution through GiveDirect (by clicking on
How You Can Help on the left of this page) or by sending a check
to Boys Hope Girls Hope National Office, 12120 Bridgeton Square
Drive, Bridgeton, MO 63044. Please indicate that the donation is
to be directed to New Orleans.

Charities of America. Of over 50,000 eligible charities,
only about 1,500 were awarded this certificate of excellence.

August 19, 2004 - Disney Co. unveiled the 15 Mickey
statues, including the "Fountains of Fun," that will be
on display at the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City from August

Denver volunteer, Rick Sullivan, greeted President Bush
as he stepped off Air Force One to attend a fundraiser and the U.S.
Air Force Academy graduation. We're grateful to our partners
at Anheuser-Busch Cos. who, through their Legislative Affairs office,
introduced Boys Hope Girls Hope to the team at USA Freedom
Corps, the agency leading the President's call for increased volunteerism.

exposure in USA TODAY! The publication created and printed
a full-page public service announcement in all markets over the
New Year's holiday. The PSA ran again in several markets in
February.
September 2003
Tim Hayes, Executive Director of Boys Hope
Girls Hope of Detroit, completes a 225-mile trek to bring attention
to the plight of today's children. Click

Boys Hope Girls Hope hosted 42 high school seniors
and college freshman at the 2003 College Success Retreat in Aurora,
NB. Through the support of NFL Charities, the seniors prepared
for the college application/ acceptance process while the college
freshman discussed topics ranging from stress management and budgeting
to identifying the contribution each intends to make during his/her
college career.

With the support of The Morgan Stanley Foundation,
Boys Hope Girls Hope holds its first Campus Camp for seventh
and eighth graders from throughout the United States.

Freedom Corps web site as New Member of the Volunteer Network. This

offers comprehensive information regarding "The President's
Call to Service." Information regarding Boys Hope Girls Hope

section for information regarding President Bush's comments to those
gathered at the Business Strengthening America breakfast on December
10. Boys Hope Girls Hope President/CEO Paul Minorini was one of
few nonprofit representatives invited to attend.

1, 1999 on the National Public Radio, All Things Considered
segment. NPR ran an 8-minute story featuring Boys Hope Girls
Hope! The story featured the New York boys homes and high school
senior and track star Enrique. This inspiring story of our programs
success in helping youth realize their potential was broadcast to
millions of listeners around the country.
