Giving More Children a Chance
A growing number of children in our community are mired in circumstances that threaten their futures and potential. Violence, drugs, and gangs shatter neighborhoods. Illness, addiction and incarceration splinter families. Failing schools and the absence of positive role models dampen dreams. When hope dies in a child, the cycle perpetuates . In St. Louis, too many children live on the outskirts of Hope.

These children and their families are in need of community support before they become trapped in destructive behaviors, academic failure, mental illness, and the child protective system. It is vital that proven interventions like Boys Hope Girls Hope maximize their capacity to help.

Everything in One Place
Previously, we operated two residential homes and leased office space in a third location. This situation created inefficiency and hampered collaboration. The homes did not offer the optimal residential capacity, were geographically disconnected from key partners and are were not configured to maximize staffing flexibility and longevity. We are now able to serve significantly more children in an even more effective and cost-efficient way.
